Please join Colorado Youth at Risk and The Youth Opportunity Foundation, Inc. to help raise money for Denver's at-risk youth

This October in Denver a number of brave souls will sacrifices their faces and their locks as participants in Mustache4Cash and Color4Kidz. The goal for this year is to raise $125,000 for local youth charities, Byrne Urban Scholars, Colorado Youth at Risk, and Escuela de Guadalupe. Your participation and the money you raise will be donated directly to Colorado Youth at Risk.

What's the problem?
In Denver, Urban school districts have on-time graduation rates lower than 50%. Additionally Colorado has ranked 49th out of 50 states with the highest drop out rate.

How do I help?
In an effort to help these children achieve everything they are capable of, The Youth Opportunity Foundation, Inc. has put on Mustache4Cash and Color4Kidz. The event works just like a walk-a-thon only instead you will grow a mustache or dye a streak of hair for a full 30 days. Every Thursday there are "How's it growing" parties so that you can mingle with other growers, and there will be a killer, 70's themed, finale party. Friends, family and co-workers will not only notice your manly 'stache or your fashion-forward streak, but you can tell them that it's for the kids and donations are accepted.

What do I do?

Sign up! Join in the Fun! Once you have registered, choose the "2008 CYAR team" from the team drop down to show your support, and head over to the kick-off party on October 2nd at 6:00 PM at LaRumba (99 W. 9th Avenue) with your ready-to-mustache face or new streak!
