One of my many passions is education and I love the kids we work with! I believe that every young person deserves an opportunity to be the best they can possibly be! And programs such that CYAR and Urban Scholars offers, does just that!
Message to your donors
Thank you in advance for supporting the future, our future! These kids are just like you and me, some of us as we are now, but for the most part, certainly as we were when we were there age. Remember having that one adult in your life that made a difference, told you that you were smart, pretty, could do anything, kept you on track to succeed? Well, that is exactly what having a mentor is like only better. The mentors are trained specifically to work with Denver's most challeneged youth and year after year, these agencies have proven that the system works!!

I am 39, married, a breast cancer survivor of nearly 4 years and I know and appreciate the impact that awareness and education has on our community and the world at large. That's why I will gladly highlight MY hair with neon pink for a whole month. Excellent conversation opporunities arise to share with people the difference that mentoring a youth can make, not only in their life, but yours!
