Why is this fundraiser important to you? It's all about the kids! Message to your donors Many of you don't know me without facial hair, and you know how it's really a part of who I am. You've likely witnessed the evolution from goatee to beard various times. My committment to this organization was that I would shave it all off, and start from scratch, and thus, Oct. 4th was a tough day, parting with a piece of my life for 7 years now. But now, it's all about the stache! I sincerely appreciate your support, but remember, the children benefiting from your donation appreciate it more. So it all started back in high school, as soon as I could grow a goatee, I did! Since then, it's been back and forth between the goatee and the beard (when I'm feeling lazy). So when I heard about a chance to raise money for something I knew I could do, I signed up. Then I read the rules and realized that I had to shave! Guess I should have read the rules before I signed up. Nevertheless, I'm in, so I decided to have fun with this, so look forward to another evolution in Luke's facial hair...
