Why is this fundraiser important to you?
It's all about helping kids succeed!

Message to your donors
Many of you know that my facial hair is really a part of who I am, in fact, you may have never seen me without some form of facial hair. But for the month of October, the facial hair is more important than ever, because it has the opportunity to help me raise money for disadvantaged and at-risk youth! You've likely witnessed the evolution from goatee to beard various times, but now, it's all about the stache! I sincerely appreciate your support, but remember, the children benefiting from your donation appreciate it more. Thank you for your support, and check back for more pictures, as I've yet to determine the stache of choice for this year...

Grower Bio
I grew up in the country, so having facial hair was the thing to do. So it all started back in high school, as soon as I could grow a goatee, I did! Since then, it's been back and forth between the goatee and the beard (when I'm feeling lazy). So last year, when I heard about a chance to raise money for something I knew I could do, I signed up. Then I read the rules and realized that I had to shave! Guess I should have read the rules before I signed up. Nevertheless, I decided to have fun with this, so last year I took on an aweful looking blend betweeen long sideburns and a fu manchu, but it was a ton of fun. So this year, I look forward to another evolution in Luke's facial hair...
